We have an opportunity for a Systems Engineer to work on Next Generation Avionics Design Activities. Do you have good collaborating skills? Are you looking for a new professional challenge in a newly created team?

Key responsibilities

• Design development of aviation systems for the aircraft, including requirements definition
• Design and development of analysis and automated tests to ensure validity and to verify functionality against system and software requirements
• Maintenance requirements definition, design and analysis of software monitors used to determine fault reporting, fault isolation, and fault consolidation of the Computers/Control Modules and various subsystems
• Determination of an optimal design that meets customer requirements and is also scalable and portable to the greatest extent possible to other, future platforms
• Support of upgrades to current portfolio
• Come up with innovative solutions to hot issues
• Support of flight testing of the developed solutions

Key requirements

• University degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mechatronics
• Experience with requirements management
• Excellent command of English language
• Knowledge of system/software development processes (DO-178)
• Willingness to learn and develop your knowledge
• Strong organizational skills and analytical ability

We value

• Knowledge of Embedded/Navigation systems is highly desired
• Previous professional experience with aerospace system/software design and development
• Experience with object-oriented computer language (C++ or otherwise) and script languages (Perl, Python)
• Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink
• Knowledge of system/software development processes (DO-178)
