We are looking for an experienced System Engineer to join our cross-functional team to work on technology development, from initial concepts up to prototypes demonstrated in flight.
You will take responsibility for the R&D projects development in an area of electrical systems for sustainable aircrafts powered by Hydrogen Fuel Cell, Hydrogen Gas Turbines or Hybrid Systems. You are expected to take responsibility for design and development new concepts and prototypes of electronic systems, power electronic and control systems.
Research and development in power-electronic domain, electric systems modelling and simulation
Provide expertise in motor control, inverters, power conversion, selection of topologies and key components for different level of power supply, from low up to high voltage (kV).
Close collaboration with subject matter experts on architecture definition, systems, and component engineering, providing system level guidance, defining the trade-off studies and participation on system modelling and analyses.
Definition and planning of system development, leading design reviews.
Close collaboration with project manager and his/her support.
Performing functional hazard assessment, system safety assessment, common cause analyses.
Supervising preparation of Validation and Verification plans.
Participation on preparation of system test procedures and acceptance test procedures.
Preparing tasks for colleagues and integrate their results into your system development.
You Must Have:
M.Sc. or Ph.D. in relevant engineering domain
5+ years of electronic design engineering experience.
Knowledge of design, modelling, simulation
Experience with system integration into the higher-level assemblies.
Good command of English language
Insight into modern and sustainable technologies
Due to Export Controls restrictions EU nationality required
Experience with integration of electronic and mechanical systems.
