AUTOMATION ENGINEER - opportunity also for graduates!

Join our engineering team as a technical professional for automation and manufacturing process development. You will play a significant role in process improvement and will partner with automation and production leaders to set the direction for future process development. As appropriate, you will practice lean optimization techniques and utilize process simulation to test future scenarios. You will play key role in automation of the processes and interpret the business impact for the company from the strategic perspective to stakeholders. You will work with internal operations, engineering, quality and material management, and 3rd party integrators. Your role will be essential in delivery of all projects related to manufacturing processes within your area of responsibility.

  • Manages the design, deployment and implementation of automation projects including management of Factory Operations Technology (OT), the hardware and software in the factory that monitors and / or controls industrial equipment.
  • Ensures the logical and systematic implementation of systems requirements into a solution that meets technical, schedule and cost targets.
  • Performs technical planning, system integration, verification, capital cost, return on investment, risk management, and effective analysis to deliver automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Understands how to connect and collect data out of machines into data structures that can be analyzed and allow equipment to be optimized.


  • Apply lean principles and use appropriate simulation tools to evaluate the current state and design future solutions in production (e.g. Siemens Plant Simulate).
  • Applies process simulation software in the development of new programs for automated workplaces (e.g. Roboguide, SysWeld, Siemens Process Simulate, etc.) according to the application.


  • Bachelors (Manufacturing, Engineering, Technology, business or related field).
  • Experience managing and or designing automation cells.
  • Broad knolwedge of mechanical product manufacturing processes and factory environment.
  • Passion for factory 4.0 concept and development.
  • Proficiency in Office 365.
  • Proven ability to influence across organizations.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication (Czech a English).


  • Experience with manufacturing engineering/ operations
  • Six Sigma Green Belt / Lean Expert Certification.
  • Process engineering knowledge in Welding, Fabrication and/or Machining.
  • Siemens Plant Simulate, Process Simulate/Roboguide or similar, SysWeld or similar.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
  • Experience with IIoT and/or SCADA platforms (Ignition, Thingworx, iBaseT), Asset Connectivity and PLC programming.
  • Experience with C++, Python or R.
  • Experience with BI platforms (Power BI / Tableau).
