We have an opportunity for a System Designer for Aircraft Navigation to join our Aerospace team in Brno. The role will allow you to participate on exciting projects dealing with cutting-edge technology in the field, further developing your skills in a supportive environment. Responsibilities

System designer for avionics
Perform technical planning, system integration, verification, cost and risk, and supportability analyses for total systems
Perform analysis at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation and maintenance
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Works with SGN project teams to deploy Integrated Product Delivery and Support (IPDS); including process and guidelines tailoring, training, product installation, and end user support
Ensure assigned technical tasks are completed on-time and within given requirements
Actively identify new technological opportunities that will help achieve incremental or step change improvements
Emphasis on safety, long-term project, slow and steady movement

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
1+ years of experience in technical engineering (mechanical, civil, electronics)
Experience with embedded systems and design / test automation
Experience with Matlab and Simulink
Excellent command of English language

Strong organizational skills and analytical ability
Self – starter, motivated to take initiative and able to work – independently
Extremely reliable, trustworthy, with highest ethical standards
Excellent communications skills
Interested to work in fast paced, global business environment
Knowledge of:
inertial / satellite navigation systems and/or
aircraft data acquisition systems and/or
air data systems and/or
radar altimeter systems
Familiarity with aircraft / ground systems installation, maintenance and interface definition
