Sr Engineering Manager - IGS EU Projects

Location: Brno – Research and Development Center

Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Intelligrated. You will be the technical leader and be the primary decision maker for program cost, schedule, and technical issues. You will lead a multi-disciplined team in the prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives, and drive overall program performance.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Seasoned technology or business leader with 15+ years of experience, Engineering degree.
• R&D management experience in a multinational company, global exposure is a plus.
• Strategic thinking and execution ability; Successful track record of initiating strategies to leverage business growth and change.
• Strong Communication skills and leadership competency with demonstrated success of influential impact.
• Performance focus, ability to challenge the status quo, and constructively challenge senior leadership to adopt the best approach meet business objectives
• Leadership building and management at all levels, strong business connectivity and influencing skills working with senior leaders and partnership with Chief Technology Officers (CTOs).
• Interested in working in a fast-paced, diversified and growing global business environment; Results-orientation with high productivity; strong desire to win
• An entrepreneur-driven individual, passionate about driving innovation; Result orientation with high productivity

WE VALUE

• Knowledge of current and emerging practices, methods, and information relating to discipline and application within the material handling industry
• Master or Advanced degree in engineering or related filed, business degree is a plus
• Significant leadership experience preferably in an international, multi-site and multicultural business environment
• Competence to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
• Market focused mindset and ability to anticipate changes in customer's needs
• Strategic thinking and effective management implementation on complex projects
• Proven track record of successful cross functional experiences
• Ability to consistently make timely decisions and balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness, even in the face of complexity
