HR Generalist

Honeywell Technology Solutions (HTS) dynamically expands its activities in research and development (R&D) centre in Brno, Czech Republic. Established in 2003, this is the largest R&D centre in Europe for Honeywell. Our engineers and scientists develop products and technologies that are linked to our business units: Aerospace, Automation and Controls Solutions and Transportation Systems.

We are looking for an HRG, that will be providing a broad range of HR support actions for achieving strategic objectives, including talent management, organization efficiency (change management, leader efficiency, organization design), and employee engagement and retention. We expect that you will become a strong and respected partner to the Leaders.

Key accountabilities

Talent Acquisition: Regularly reviewing the hiring process and practice to be effective for the Business; Cooperating with the Talent Acquisition team on understanding the Business plan and the right approach and process set up; Interviewing the Top candidates; mentor Leaders in interviewing; give advice on hiring methods and practices, etc.

Performance and Talent Management: Driving the internal processes (HPD, MRR, Succession planning, PIP, etc.); Effectively resolving disciplinary issues according to the local regulations; Proactively working with Top Talents - drive Individual development plans implementation and implement practices; Handling effectively internal transfers and promotions; Act as mentor and confidant for Leaders - be able to give advice in People leadership while using Honeywell tools, processes, policies, etc.; Providing training on Honeywell tools and processes; motivate employees and managers population for using the tools.

Organizational Development: Advice on the structure of a particular Business; Implement structural changes when Business is changing.
Labour Employee Relations: Resolve employee relations issues effectively; Conduct internal investigations in conjunction with the appropriate resources.

Compensation & Benefits: Advice on employee package based on the market practice and Honeywell policy - give advice in promotions, hiring, reward, recognition, etc.; Set up the job leveling and appropriate salary structure

HR processes and policies: Implement and participate in creating of global, country, and local policies; Set up an interface with country HR support (admin, payroll, legal, etc.); Be responsible for having all processes effectively set up

Project Management: Lead HR projects at local and country-level; Actively participate in the project's design and implementation at the Site

Communication & Cooperation: Communicate strongly and professionally on HR initiatives, news, implementations, etc.; Set up effective cooperation with leaders

You must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field (preferably a Master's degree)
• Minimum 2 years of progressively growing Human Resources experience
• Ability to read and speak English at a proficient level
• Great understanding of current HR trends and of the local law and practices
• Experience at driving measurable results & improvements in an HR function
• Business partnering & analytical skills, ability to mentor and provide feedback to employees at all levels
