Engineering Lead/Manager

Honeywell Technology Solutions (HTS) dynamically expands its activities in research and development (R&D) centre in Brno, Czech Republic. Established in 2003, this is the largest R&D centre in Europe for Honeywell. Our engineers and scientists develop products and technologies that are linked to our business units: Aerospace, Automation and Controls Solutions and Transportation Systems.

Our Aircraft Management Systems (AMS) department is looking for Technical Supervisor to lead
the team of highly skilled software engineers developing diagnostic and prognostic solutions for aerospace industry. 


• Participate on AMS COE strategy definition and fulfillment
• Manage, develop and empower team of engineers
• Communicate key milestones and program information to stakeholders
• Ensure robust project planning and scheduling
• Track project tasks and milestones and regularly report metrics and status
• Be a process improvement champion
• Provide process and technical mentoring and coaching to the team


• College Graduate – BS in EE or CS. Advanced degree preferred and continuous learning expected
• Minimum 5 years experience since graduating from University
• Experience in supporting and leading teams
• Experience in project management
• Excellent command of English language
• Experience in embedded systems, web systems or avionic software
• Knowledge of configuration control system
• Knowledge of the best SW development practices and SW development cycle
• Capability and willingness to travel to USA for trainings and business meetings
• Must meet any applicable Export License conditions in terms of nationality for the given project
• Excellent communications skills (both written and oral)
• Strong organizational skills and analytical ability
• Self – starter, motivated and takes initiative, and able to work independently
• Extremely reliable, trustworthy and highest ethical standards
• Interested in working in fast paced, global business environment
• Strongly customer oriented attitude
• Commitment to develop long term professional career in Honeywell Aerospace
• Ability to make decisions while fully taking responsibility for the associated risks
