Sr Software Engineer

Sensing, Guidance & Navigation team at Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an experienced SW engineer for developing navigation avionics systems
Develop requirements, design and implement software for Honeywell Aerospace SGN products - the state-of-the-art navigation systems for business aircrafts, helicopters and drones
Create and update SW requirements, design documentation, and Verification & Validation documents.
Create software test plans, scripts, and reports for informal and formal validation.
Act as a technical leader on selected projects and a point of contact for our partner sites in USA
As a technical coordinator, ensure that the product fulfills all functional and safety requirements
Deploy the modern sw development standards and improve existing sw workflows across the product portfolio
Ensure tasks are completed on-time and in requested quality
Provide mentoring to junior colleagues
Close work with the management on the organization development agenda and capturing new business opportunities
Knowledge of C or C++ programming and/or software development of real-time embedded systems required.
Practical knowledge of project management or experience as a team coordination is a big advantage
Experience with debugging communication protocols on real target HW platform is a plus.
Practical knowledge of parallel sw development in virtual teams is a plus
Knowledge of systems modeling (Simulink) is a plus.
Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) is a plus.
Knowledge of scripting language is a plus.
Knowledge of DO-178B objectives is a plus.
Knowledge of Requirement Management tools is a plus (DOORS)
Knowledge of Configuration Management tools is a plus (git, SVN, ClearCase …)
