We have an opportunity for a Sr. Advanced Project Engineer to join our AEROSPACE PLATFORM for MECHANICAL SYSTEMS AND CONTROLLERS / FLIGHT CONTROL ACTUATION team.

We’re applying our technologies in autonomous flight, avionics, electric and hybrid-electric propulsion, detect-and-avoid systems, actuation, flight infrastructure and connectivity to the unique needs of unmanned aerial systems and urban air mobility vehicles.
Coordinate and manage technical work executed by development team
Communicate key milestones and program information to stakeholders
Ensure robust project planning and scheduling
Ensure compliance to all development processes
Track project tasks and milestones
Do a risk management
Provide weekly metrics and overall project status
Be a process improvement champion
Provide process and technical mentoring and coaching
Solid reporting line to leadership
Bachelors/master’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electronic Engineering)
Project management & Earned Value Management (EVM) experience – at least 3 years in Aerospace industry, otherwise at least 5 years
Excellent communications skills for leading the team of 25+ people
Self-motivation and ability to work with little supervision, consistent taking the initiative to get things done, doing things before being asked by others or forced to by events
Excellent command of English language is mandatory (B2/C1) - communication in English (spoken and written) with team located in the US
Ability to coping with stress (challenging role)
Technical Background and knowledge of electronic unit development cycle involving PBA / Mechanical/SW Eng., is preferred
Knowledge of Aerospace Standards (DO-178, DO-254, DO-160, ARP-4754) is preferred
